CUMEX standard gear couplings are designed for usage in a wide range of industrial applications. High torque capacity and compact design are applicable for many installations where a robust and reliable operation is required. The couplings compensate radial and angular misalignments as well as axial movements with weak restorative forces. CUMEX standard gear couplings are designed to compensate a max. angular misalignment of 1°. Special toothing guarantees a high torque capacity as well as low backlash and smooth operation. Standard types can be used in horizontal mounting position. The modular design leads to cost effective solutions and short lead time to produce. CUMEX gear couplings are torsionally rigid but require a backlash and are therefore not free of clearance.

Standard types KKA, KKB and KKS are designed to connect shafts with a minimum distance between the shaft ends. For higher shaft end distances the coupling types KKV and KKP are available. It is possible to connect shafts with customized shaft end distances. Intermediate parts are also available according to the customer’s specification.

Промежуточная часть типа KKP снабжена трубчатым валом. Это обеспечивает легкую конструкцию, особенно для длинных валов и больших типов муфт. Промежуточная деталь типа KKV выполнена в виде цельного вала, поэтому диаметр промежуточной детали меньше.

При использовании высокой скорости вращения и/или длинных валов мы рекомендуем провести анализ вибрации и динамическую балансировку приводного механизма. Кроме того, мы предлагаем динамическую балансировку муфты. Такой подход предотвращает повреждения, вызванные резонансами или силами дисбаланса.
