Sales Engineer / Manager
Kumera Technology is a part of Kumera Corporation, recognized as a global provider of advanced process equipment and solutions for the Metals processing industry. Our expertise is deeply rooted in demanding industrial applications, particularly providing advanced concentrate drying and fire refining equipment.
We are now looking for a Sales Engineer/Manager to strengthen our sales team. This is a wide-ranging global role in agile organization, providing you with a viewpoint to truly international business with wide network of customers all around the world. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and agent network. The final job title and responsibilities will be defined based on the selected candidate’s experience, background, and own interest.
In the role, you will:
Participate in equipment sales projects
Review of customer technical and commercial specifications
Prepare and manage technical and commercial proposals
Prepare cost estimations and do pricing
Participate in development of sales tools and internal processes
Support in contract negotiations and contribute to sales strategy and forecasting
Depending on your experience and own interests, the role may be extended to include:
Leading sales projects and taking responsibility for solution creation
Taking process engineering responsibilities within the fire refining product family
Representing the company at exhibitions and contributing to marketing materials
Participating in equipment commissioning activities at customer sites
Leading internal development projects
To succeed,
You are a technically oriented professional with a strong commercial mindset. You understand complex industrial processes and enjoy working at the interface of technology and business. Ideally, you have:
A relevant academic degree, preferably in metallurgy, process engineering or mechanical engineering
Experience in the process industry, ideally in pyrometallurgy
Experience in technology sales, either in front line or sales support
Ability to read customer technical and commercial specifications
Strong English skills (written and spoken), Finnish seen as advantage
A customer-oriented mindset with strong communication and presentation skills
Good problem-solving skills with self-driving capability to search for information
In addition to above, experience in any of the following is considered as an advantage:
Consultative sales
Product management
Proposal management
Contract management
