The foundry is specialized in small and medium sized series from one piece up to thousand pieces. The size of castings varies from 500 g to 5 tons, and the annual production capacity is approximately 5500 tons. The molding method used is hand molding with phenolic alkaline sand.
Peiron Oy has a certified ISO 9001:2008 quality system audited by DNV and the company’s environment policy fulfills the requirements of ISO 14001. The foundry is also approved by the following classification societies: DNV-GL, Lloyd’s Register, American Bureau of Shipping, Registro Italiano Navale, Bureau Veritas and Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The operations of Peiron Oy are located in Kokemäki, Finland. The foundry is producing mainly various steel and nodular iron castings. The foundry is also producing grey iron castings. Peiron Oy is a supplier of casting components to Finnish industries as well as international companies operating in Finland, including manufacturers of equipment and machinery for the pulp and paper industry, metallurgical and mining industry, concrete machinery manufacturers, and power and heating plants.
The foundry produces industrial castings in steel and iron – both alloyed and non-alloyed – for mechanical power transmissions of a wide range of industrial and marine applications, and process machinery.
The customers of our foundry include a number of Finnish and foreign companies within the mining and metallurgical industries, pulp and paper machinery makers and power plants.
In order to decrease our customers’ logistics needs, we deliver our foundry products ready machined.
